Katharina, born and raised in Germany, has always been active and loves running, hiking, HIIT, & spin classes. It wasn't until she began incorporating yoga into her daily life, that she realized the importance of effective exercise and movement, and all the benefits it has on the body and soul, while promoting a long healthy and happy life. Katharina has become passionate about passing that gift on to others and encouraging people that it is never too late to incorporate movement in your life. She is a certified group fitness instructor, personal trainer, completed her 200 HR yoga certification at Blue Yoga Nyla (which completely changed her approach to training others), and she is currently working on her 500 HR yoga certification at BYN.
When she is not going through a vinyasa flow or spinning away at her local spin studio, Katharina loves adventuring and traveling with her husband and high school sweetheart, Chris, and their two young kids, Maya and Eliam (fun fact: both are fluent in German and English). They also share their home with several exotic pets- Bananas (the ball python), Belle and Tarbi (the leopard geckos) and Shadow (the pink toed tarantula).
