The YogaBLUEprint for Advanced Age and Living

The YogaBLUEprint for Advanced Age & Living, is a proven practice for senior adults to cultivate strength and stability for balance, and freedom from assisted mobility. Facilitated from a chair or wheelchair, the practice includes pranayama, meditation, guided imagery, and asana. For many, their yoga journey began in their mid-seventies. More than two decades later, they are still walking or rolling in to practice multiple times a week, with the eldest being 104 years of age. The methodology is specifically tailored to "breathing" life back in to the body, mind, and spirit, proving there is no age limit to the practice of yoga.

Levels based on Mobility, Agility, and Cognitive Function

Level I Training:  

  • Ambulatory 

  • Walk in with general mobility, balance, and stability 

  • Able to use a chair for standing positions


Level II Training: 

  • Those dependent on wheels of any kind; walkers, wheelchairs, and/or canes.


Level III Training: 

  • Memory Care and Hospice

  • Self Care for Caregivers 

  • Processing Grief and Loss
